🌞 Red Sea Jazz Festival – Eilat

🎉 Pride Week – Tel Aviv

📜 This Month in Israeli History – June Highlights

June 1967 – The Six-Day War

Dates: June 5–10, 1967
One of the most significant events in modern Israeli history, the Six-Day War, dramatically reshaped the Middle East. In just six days, Israel captured the Old City of Jerusalem, the Golan Heights, the Sinai Peninsula, and the West Bank.
Today, visitors can walk through Jerusalem’s reunited Old City, visit the Western Wall, and learn about this pivotal moment at museums and memorial sites nationwide.

🎓 June 1925 – Opening of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem

Date: June 1925
The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, now one of Israel’s leading academic institutions, officially opened on Mount Scopus with prominent guests including Albert Einstein (who helped found it). Today, you can visit the campus and its fascinating science and archaeology museums.
