IM Israel Travel is a family-owned boutique company established by tour guides, which design and organizes tailor-made tours throughout Israel. All of our tours are guide-designed, as we strongly believe that the very best tours are those designed with the hands-on knowledge of professional guides. We are up-to-date on new hotels, activities, restaurants, and special events, all personally checked by us before being recommended to you as part of the tour planning. We organize the entire tour: a tailor-made itinerary with interactive experiences with locals, transportation, accommodations, guiding, activities and sites, restaurant reservations, and more. Ram Marshall

Dear Travelers, I was born in Tel Aviv, and spent part of my childhood in Paris, France. My passion for travel began as soon as I could walk on my own. I traveled with my family throughout Europe, and by myself to every corner of Israel. After serving in the IDF's elite Special Forces I spent 2 years traveling by motorcycle in America and Asia. Since then, I have never missed an opportunity to travel and meet people anywhere I could. I started working as a tour guide in 1987, both in Israel and abroad. Alongside my guiding experience, I have enhanced my education in History & Far East Studies at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and I obtained degrees in Hotel & Food Administration, and as a Culinary Chef, in Canada. I have worked in many different fields in several countries, while still guiding, until my passion for travel and people turned me into a full-time tour guide 15 years ago, and led to the launch of our company in 2012. My passion for organizing and guiding tours and sharing our beautiful country and people with travelers has never left me and was dramatically enhanced when my wife, Shirley, joined the company to manage all its logistical needs. Shirley Marshall Galor

Dear Travelers, I was born and raised in Tel Aviv, and throughout my youth I was involved with the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel’s traveling and educational program. Just before serving in the IDF as a Casualties Officer I traveled to Africa on a safari tour. Since then, traveling and meeting different people have been part of my life. I graduated with a Law degree from Tel Aviv University, and worked in many aspects of the profession at different law firms. I was recruited by Akim Israel, the largest NGO in Israel for people with intellectual disabilities, in 1995 in order to establish the organization’s legal department and represent them in many law cases in front of the Supreme Court of Israel. In 2010, I became Akim’s Deputy General Manager, a position that I held until I decided to join Ram in 2014 in our new, exciting, and growing travel company. As the company’s office manager and partner, I am responsible for all the logistics and reservations in our company, and offer you my services with love, passion, and a personal touch all along the way. We hand-picked our team not necessarily due to their vast knowledge, or their human relations skills, or their enthusiasm, but for the combination of all these elements with others, and above all - true love and passion for people and for guiding.
