Cooking for Passover # 2

From Ram's Kitchen Food and cooking were always my passion and I worked in a variety of restaurants in different countries. While leaving in the US I was searching for the best Chocolate Mousse and after a long search combined my favorite recipe from different restaurants in few States. Here is my version for the easiest and best Chocolate Mousse. This recipe has no added sugar and calls for uncooked eggs so it needs to be cautious.

Cooking for Passover # 2

Ingredients:

  • 13 oz (370 gr) dark chocolate
  • 5 large eggs
  • 3 Tablespoons Frangelico liquor
  • 2 cups whipping cream (38% fat)

 

Preparation:

  • Melt chocolate over Bain-marie and let cool for few minutes
  • In a separate bowl mix eggs together and add to the melted chocolate
  • Add the liquor and mix
  • Whip the whipping cream and fold into the chocolate
  • Cover and let rest in the refrigerator overnight
